Rich Tributes to late actor and mimicry artist Madhav Moghe

           In an unexpected turn of events, the popular stand up comedian, film actor and mimicry artist Shri Madhav Moghe left this world for heavenly adobe a few days ago. A Shradhanjali Sabha was held at Kelavani Mandal's Santokba Hall, adjoining Bhaidas Sabhagruha in Vile Parle, Mumbai.
            Bollywood's famous comedian Johnny Lever led the initiative to organize a Shradhanjali Sabha to honour, this well known artist Shri Madhav Moghe under the aegis of a trust which has been established for the growth of mimicry and stand up comedians. The late Madhav Moghe was it's secretary and Shri Johnny Lever is the founder member and President of a trust dedicated to mimicry artists and stand up comedians. Johnny Lever who is always seen entertaining and making people around him laugh, turned emotional during his remembrance speech of Shri Moghe.
        Madhav Dada, as most of the film fraternity addressed him, spent almost 40 years of his life, entertaining and bringing happiness and laughter in peoples lives. 
        The journey of Late Shri Madhav Moghe began with his stint in the world of mimicry with 'Melody Makers'. This was the golden period of orchestra music in India. His association with the Melody Makers Orchestra continued thereafter and he traveled the world with their troupe, with all the most famous play back singers. Along  with his travels all abroad, he acted in many films like Damini and Ghatak.His mimicry of Sanjeev Kumar from 'Sholay' in comedy serials is simply unforgettable.
The Shradhanjali Sabha was attended by Late Shri Moghe jis beloved Daughter Prachi along with well known film celebrities like Johnny Lever, Play back Singer Sudesh Bhosale, famous Stand-up comedians Raju Srivastav and Naveen Prabhakar, Actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar, comedian actor Tikku Talsaniya, Sandip Chonkar, Jimmy Moses, Sudesh Lehri, Vishajeet Soni ( prem ) VIP & many renowned comedians were present to honour the memory of the late Madhav Moghe. Adhering to the strict Pandemic norms, and as there are restrictions due to the Corona pandemic, the number of invitees for this gathering was restricted to 25 persons only..
